The general public is hereby informed that The Gambia Tourism Board in
its quest to improve quality standards of tourism establishments across
the country will enforce the provisions o both The Gambia Tourism Board
Act and Tourism Regulations 2011 in the up-coming 2013/2014 tourism
season.
The Gambia Tourism Board conducted inspections of tourism establishments across the length and breadth of the country and has graded the inspected establishments based on The Gambia Tourism Board's Inspection Checklists.
The Gambia Tourism Board wishes to inform you that Tourism Establishments with inspections grades of D and E that is Fair and Below Standard representative will not be listed to operate during the 2013/14 tourist season.
Tourism Establishment especially Bars and Restaurants, Guest Houses, Camps, Lodges, Nightclubs, Hotels, Ground Operators and Equipment Hires are hereby urged to take the necessary actions within their establishments to meet the desired grades that is A,B an C before 31st October, 2013.
Grading Criterial: A: Excellent B: Very Good C:Good D:Fair E:Below Standard
